This is my favorite track off of Pusha T’s new album My Name Is My Name. It’s an absolutely genius song. Pusha T is well known for his “20 plus years of selling Johnson & Johnson” (aka pushing cocaine), and Kendrick Lamar spent his childhood watching his dad “selling soap fiends bubble bath, [and braking] his nails misusing his pinky to treat his nose” during the 80’s crack epidemic. The duality of their verses paints a dynamic picture in which both of their very different lives converge through their drug and nose related memories. This is why the song is cleverly spelled Nosetalgia. I also love the gritty instrumental produced by Kanye West and Nottz. Even though it maintains a strong presence throughout the song, I wish it changed up a little more.
(TMZ) Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase “burger joint” — TMZ has learned, a Wendy’s employee was arrested last month in Georgia … after allegedly making a cheeseburger with one crazy off-the-menu ingredient … marijuana.
According to the Lovejoy Police Department, 32-year-old Amy Seiber was busted during her shift on November 1 … after a customer called 911, complaining she had found a half-smoked blunt in her cheeseburger.
